Why Ideary Works exists

I’ve worked on websites for 28 years, first in Germany and now from Pasadena. In that time, I’ve seen how much a good website can do for a business. I’ve also seen what happens when it becomes hard to update, stops working as it should, or is left without anyone to look after it.

I started Ideary Works for business owners who want a reliable person on the other end. Someone who listens, explains what needs attention, does the agreed work, and stays reachable afterward. Your website should be useful on launch day and continue to support your business as things change.

If something is broken, confusing, or difficult to use, I'll find the cause and work on the issues we agree to fix.

Once the site is live, I can take care of agreed technical checks, WordPress updates, and ongoing accessibility reviews each month.<

Accessibility is part of the work.

A website should be easier for more people to use. That means paying attention to readable content, clear navigation, forms, keyboard access, and the way the site works with assistive technology.

I bring that thinking into build and improvement projects. For ongoing care, I check the agreed pages and important user paths each month, review the results, handle routine work within your plan, and let you know when something needs a separate fix. These checks are practical upkeep, not a certification or a promise that every issue has been found.

1. Listen

Tell me about your business, your current website, and what has been frustrating you. If you're not sure whether you need a new site, a redesign, or ongoing care, we'll work that out together.

2. Make a clear plan

I'll explain what I recommend, what the work includes, and what it will cost. You'll be able to see the next steps before we begin.

3. Stay reachable

You'll have a direct person to contact. After launch, you can manage the site yourself or choose a care plan so I can keep an eye on the agreed essentials.

Questions about working with me

Will I work directly with you?

Yes. I’m the person you speak with about the website and the person responsible for the work we agree on. If a project needs specialist help, I’ll discuss that with you first.

Can you work on a website someone else built?

Usually, yes. I’ll look at the platform, access, and current condition first. If it makes more sense to rebuild than to keep fixing the existing setup, I’ll explain why.

Do you only work with businesses in Pasadena?

No. I’m based in Pasadena and work with businesses throughout Los Angeles County and across the U.S. Most planning and project work can be handled remotely.

Does a care plan cover every website change?

No. Care covers the agreed monthly checks and routine work in your plan. New pages, redesigns, major repairs, and changes to your business content are quoted separately.
